This New Zealand ice cream company wanted to differentiate itself on grocery store shelves by appealing to a younger, adventurous, demographic of consumers that want to be as explorative in their ice cream flavor choices as their recreation. The ice cream packaging evokes the outdoorsy place that it was created, a city surrounded by snow-capped mountain peaks, and draws in new customers with fresh, monochrome pastels, inviting them to taste a treat as fresh as the mountains it was made in.
